En este caso un Disco Wester Digital de 80GB WD800BB IDE PATA agregado a una Mobo VXPRO con un micro Pentium 120 Bios Release date 1997 Se colocaron los jumpers en modo cap limit, ::;:; y se colocó en la configuración de la BIOS en en USER y se cargaron los valores de CHS para 8 GB luego se utilizó el data life guard para formatear luego se procedió a instalar windows 98 normalmente. Finalizado esto, se removió el jumper del cap limit y en otro equipo se particionó y formateo los restantes 70 GB con Fat 32, luego se reconectó al equipo.
