Clipboard broken, no paste no copy, problem solved

Under Windows XP a machine infected by a keylogger specifically (Total Spy or ToS which executable is ctfmon.exe by default) could generate unusual clipboard behavior like no "paste" option or something like not copy or no copy/paste between applications. Also it shows an incompatibility with firefox 2.0.0.16 at  least and 3.0.0.2a when web monitor is enabled.
